For the not so brave you can put on snorkelling gear and enter a steel cage and be lowered to the bottom of the aquarium. The giant sharks will be glad to see you and it will still be a thrilling experience despite the safety of the cage.

You can get a spectacular view watching the sunrise over the desert, when the entire desert is transformed into an extraordinary and exciting beautiful picture, which you might otherwise only see on desktop wallpaper. It’s impossible to leave here without buying anything, even if only for the reason that the price of gold in the Emirates is the lowest in the world. You can, and have to, bargain here. The ancient spice market is a place where you can buy everything, and spend the whole day, strolling along the stalls with oriental goods. Sweets, dried fruit, bags of spices – all flavours of the world are concentrated in one place. Even if you are not a cook, here you will forget about skyscrapers and beaches and feel yourself to be a pioneer of taste. Some items and perhaps new tastes you will find only here: large dates, Arabic sweets, rosebuds, even black fragrant lemon and saffron.
